    What is the proper setting for idle orfices on a 1997 johnson 115? Boat wont idle when trimmed down.

    I have a 1997 115 johnson that wont idle when trimmed down. Replaced fuel pump. Also replaced primer bulb. Also the primer bulb never gets hard when pumped.

    My 97 Johnson wont idle when trimmed down after it warms up. New plugs and fuel pump i recently installed. Can I adjust the idle orfice when I remove the intake cover off of the carbs?
