I recently unbolted my '74 50hp evinrude power pilot from the hull for a touch up paint. Upon remounting though I've found that the shift lever won't come all the way back to neutral & therefore not reverse either.
The motor started fine before my diy tinkering but now it won't start at all. no...

I have recently bought a 74 Pongrass Surfmaster with a 50hp power pilot control up front that has snapped an ignition key & the key cutting provider in town says they can't replicate one without removing the ignition barrel & casting one from it (even though I have both pieces)...
