I have a 1992 volvo penta 290 sterndrive. The exhaust bypass elbows were in bad shape so I purchased new ones to replace the old ones. The old ones simply pulled out the rear of transom shield but I am having trouble getting new ones in.It looks like I have to remove flange on inside of transom...
