Had to get towed back to the dock yesterday. My 85hp mercury ran great all day and would start right up after stopping for short periods of time trying to find fish. We finally found a good spot and stopped for about a half hour. Tried to start the motor to head home and no signs of life...
Cant figure out for the life of me how the bushings at the end of the control cables come out. Doesnt seem like there is enough room to get the throttle bushing out nevermind the shift cable which is buried below it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Hey guys got this outboard and the choke and this spring were not hooked up. Ive searched the manual and online and cant see how to attach this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. There is also a weight that was just laying in the bottom of the motor. Cant see where this goes or what...
