I have two champion outboards 1948 9.7 and 1946 4.2 and was wondering if anyone can tell me if they have to be moving in the water for the water pump impeller to push water :confused:
I have an old Fisherman serial no. 5520 15401<br />I would like to know the year and hp and I can't seem to get the lower section off to replace the water pump. Is there a secret to getting it off.<br />any information would be appreciated. It just doesnt seem to want to pump. It's a real sweet...
