Changed the impeller on a 5hp 4stroke. Engine works fine pumps very good but now there seems to be more exhaust than I remember coming out the two holes in the front of the lower unit where the lower unit mates. It seems they were designed for this but I do not remember so much exhust coming...
Just changed impeller puming water fine, leaking exhust out two holes at the front of the lower unit. Is this ok? I don't remember it doing this before I changed the impeller.Engine seems to run fine but I don't remember the air coming out these two holes.
