the shifting issue I have is now narrowed down. Controller and all cables/linkage working fine. Pulled the upper shaft covers off and all works as its should but regardless of where I set control ( forward, neutral or reverse ) prop remains engaged in forward. Looking for input on what to expect...
Last few times out forward wouldn't engage until motor was throttled up to about 30-50% past idle. Then "clunk" in gear and be fine. Yesterday when I backed it off to neutral it stayed in gear. Had to shut motor off to glide into the boat ramp. Back home last night prop couldn't be turned by...
