Just changed the control box and cables from 1979 johnson 70 hrs to my 1975 50 hrs evinrude. The wireing harness was the same. Starts up just fine. Just need to no the best way to clean the throttle and shifter cables to get a nice smooth shift on the control box Their pretty tight. Reverse...
