Is it possible for the shift rod to be out of adjustment? I bought a used boat and when in neutral the clutch dog is hitting the forward gears. If I move the lever back about 1/2" in it stops. It pops out of gear in rev. when I give it gas. It will hold rev. only when idling. I think the shifter...
