    motor is down and even though the release valve is open the motor will not raise. Any suggestions?

    suzuki tilt release valve not releasing motor

    1996 dt85 suzuki trim motor has broken. In order to replace the trim motor I need to raise it. I have found the release valve and opened it but the motor will not budge. I have not used excessive force. Thinking slow, steady strong force is the answer but nervouse about breaking something...
