    '73 140 Mercruiser Shifting Problems...

    I've lost forward gear... I had someone else shift as I watched and while shifting into reverse both the barrel and the arm move...while shifting into forward the barrel moves but the arm stays put...so the barrel is sliding over the arm. Thoughts? Thanks

    140 Mercruiser Shifting Question...?

    Boating/fishing went well today...but at the end of the day I completely lost forward gear...i'm guessing the cable broken, but curious if it could be anything else? It will shift into reverse fine, but forward nothing... Thanks, -Nate

    Mercruiser 140 Fuel Issue...NEED HELP...!

    I have a 1973 Crestliner with a 140 HP Mercruiser... At the begining of this year i gave it a full tune up: plugs, wires, points, condenser, rotor, dist. cap, carb rebuild, fuel filter (x3), and replaced the coil... First time out the boat ran good for about 15 miles...on and off not straight...
