Thank you so much. The mechanic originally thought that it got water in the fuel. I had it in the boat dock at home for years and recently moved it to inside storage in a marina. I thought he drained the old fuel out. He also mentioned that it might have "gunk" in the fuel tank, but don't know...

It is a Mercruiser Stern Drive. The manual I have for it says Models 120MR-140 MR I will text my mechanic to get more info.
