I need to identify the part I am looking for on my 1956 15Hp Evinrude motor. It is essentially a pin that connects the tiller bar to the throttle bar. I have checked the local places and to no avail, the pin is not available. Looking for some expertise on this site to help out.
When the engine is running, the high speed adjustment spins itself freely, making adjustment settings impossible to maintain. Is there an o ring that needs to be in there that I am missing?
