I am in the process of rehabilitating my old Ciera and need a new prop bad. What size/pitch is recommended for this model? I have a 5.0 L Mercruiser with an Alpha 1 outdrive. I would rather use stainless, if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help.
I just bought a 99 Ciera 2655 with a 5.0 Merc and an Alpha One outdrive. Motor has low hours. Thing absolutely will not get up over the hump. I've adjusted the timing, put in new plugs, and switched out to a higher-pitch prop, with average speed around 10 knots. What am I missing? Or is the...
