I have a 1980 Mercury 70 hp outboard serial # 5651206. the stator is a CDI 174-545K1 which has a blue/white and a red/white wire assuming that is for low speed and high speed. Both of these wires are going to a ground (don't think this is right). After looking at 2 different repair manuals...
