    What happens if you use a macerator when the valve to outside the hull is closed?

    I used the macerator pump in my boat thinking the valve was open and it wasn't. Would this have burst a hose? The bilge has some water that seems kinda nasty for bilge water. Thanks in advance

    I bought a vortec long block and a blown 1996 Mercruiser LX from a bravo 2 to take all the parts off. Was the 1996 engine a vortec? Will I need a new intake? Thanks
