    1990 j/e 140 no spark

    I have a 1990 johnson/evirude 140 thats been sitting a year or so.I now have it turning over like it should,put fresh gas and oil in it but i have no spark.I pulled the plugs and grounded them no spark.I bought a spark tester.. No spark .Any ideads what i should look for?

    Motor turns over slow

    I have a 1990 evirude/johnson 140 I installed a new battery,new cables,I checked all connections and their clean.When i try to start it it turns over for a second then stops and the starter just spins but not the starter gear.If i take out all 4 spark plugs the motor turns over and keeps turning...

    My tilt isning working and the motor is all the way down.How can i lift it manually? Thanks I have a manual it says remove the angle adjusting rod but where the hell is that?
