    i found a 1985 evin. 150 to replace 1995 evin 150, i thought i might get away without changing the controls, the '85 has sidemount controls and a tilt motor box. my boat is a center console, are the controls easily adaptable for these two year motors?? the guy thats selling the motor seems to...

    motor shot??

    lower unit was damaged and replaced in my evin.150 (1995) this was done in july engine ran but did not sound right. each time i went out (and the boat was not running long) i would not be able to start it. Ended up getting towed in.changed batteries, connections, cleaned or replaced tightened...
