I'm going to have a new 4 stroke 70 hp motor put on my boat. I need to know how high the top of the motor is above the transom. I'm going to have a board accross the back of the boat with rod holders mounted on it and I want it to be higher than the top of the motor.
I just removed the water pump housing and couldn't get the impeller off of the shaft. The new impeller comes with an AY key. I don't see any kind of key or pin to hold the impeller in place on the shaft. What do I need to do to get the impeller off the shaft? I'm wondering if it's just seized...
