Boat ran last year, took it out this year and no spark.
Voltage at coil is full battery voltage on both terminals, I know this is not right. I have not messed with any point ignition before.
I tried a different coil just because and had the same readings.
I have read some of the other posts...
I recently purchased a boat with what I believe is a Mercruiser Model 470 engine and sterndrive. Engine# A474717 Transom#A466505.
It will not draw water out of the lake and heats up quickly but if I hook muffs to it water will circulate and it stays cool.
I'm assuming there is something...
