    Should I replace gear?

    Rebuilding 87 50hp lower unit. Replacing forward gear and clutch (edges rounded off badly) Reverse gear is only slightly rounded (barely visible)at the edge and otherwise is in good shape. Should I replace it. Thanks for any help

    Will lower unit fit?

    i have an '87 50 horse force with a bad lower unit. Will a lower unit from a 40 horse fit? I think it's a '92. Both are 20".

    50 hp gearcase-What years fit?

    I have an 87 50 hp and need a gearcase. Can someone tell me what years will fit this engine. Thanks for any help.

    87 force-50,whats it worth?

    The motor I have has a bad clutch and forward gear. How much should this repair cost me. I'ts in the shop now. The rest of it is in good shape. Compression 135, both cylinders. How much do you think it's worth for parts (he has a customer looking for a powerhead)motor runs fine. Thanks
