I have a 1997 Mercury Sport Jet 175xr2. My flywheel magnets broke off and damaged the Stator. I don't believe the damage is enough to have to replace the stator but I would appreciate a little advice from someone who knows a little more than I do. I have taken a few pics and posted them...
My flywheel just slung off all its magnets. I have been shopping for used parts and I am having a hard time finding a used flywheel. Does anyone have any idea where I can find one. If not, where is the best place to buy a new one. The engine is a 1997 Mercury 175xr2 Sport Jet.
