My 87 bayliner 5.0 stuck in reverse wouldn't go to neutral or forward took off transom nothing seems to be broke or in bad condition just the shift lever was out of the u shape of the shift lever guide, wondering what might cause this?
Also when put the lever back into guide and moving by hand...
