starts great idles great put into gear an it still runs but only enough to make a wake an today it snaped out of it but when i slowed down it went right back to doing the same thing. I have done compession test an that was 123psi on all of them. Checked all coils good also.when i took out today...
i just replaced the stator on my 150hp mercury i got the motor running agin an the brand new stator went out agin after 30mins on the water. the guy i got it from just repaced the ignition swich could it be wired incorrectly there is a whisiling noise coming from the contol box.
