    tilt and trim gauge

    i have a 1978 85 hp johnson. i am trying to hook up the tilt and trim gauge but dont know what wires go where on the back of the gauge. if anyone could please help with this. kevin

    johnson javlin 85 hp

    I have a johnson 85 hp javlin motor, i am having trouble witht the tilt and trim. when i run the tilt down it will automatically start back up. I just changed the cylinoid and it still does the same thing. do you think i need to change the switch or is there something else that i am missing...
