looking at buying a 2000 pursuit 3070 powered with twin 2004 Yamaha 225hp four strokes.
i'm new to the whole 4s engines.
I had the marina send a guy (@ $200/engine) to test them:
PORT MOTOR STBD MOTOR
CYL #1= 175PSI CYL#1=175PSI
CYL #3= 175PSI...
the port trim goes about 1/3 up and then stops... I can hear the motor going but it won't go higher, and then in a few minutes the engine slowly drops back down.
what is involved in replacing it? I have ordered a used trim assembly and i am wondering a few things.
How do I get the engine up...
