    115 hp mariner (early 80's) starter bendix shaft not engaging

    I cleaned ALL wire terimals fore to aft, got 12.8v to starter, put cables direct to starter and lubed up bendix. Still nothing. Bad starter?

    My Pontoon boat is ventilating. Changed prop

    I just bought an 18' fiesta pontoon with a 50 merc. that ventilates. I put a new 12 1/4 x 9 qiucksilver alum prop on her thinking that would help. She'll run great at 5500rpm for a bit but any slight turn or movement of weight to the bow and she revs up. She has a 2008 50 hp Merc. 2stk (not a...
