anyone know if i can replace an alpha1 gen 2 outdrive with an alpha1 from the gimble housing (the 6 bolts on the upper unit).? help need to go fishing.

I just bought an 1993 bayliner 2252 classic with a new 4.3v6 v 2bbl vortec engine with A14.5x17 ss prop running about 4300 rpm wot engine seems to be runnen fine olny getten 27 mph anyone have a similer boat ? what is your top speed? cant find orignal sales brochure that lists top speed...
