    79 black max 175 (1750) electric fuel pump

    I had an idea today. Don't tell the wife....... On fuel delivery, to replace a worn fuel pump, could you not just put in an electric fuel pump. The limiting factory would be not to overload the needle valve in the carb bowl. Right? If it were a low pressure pump, would it work?

    79 merc 175 Black Max fuel lines

    Model V1750 This has the surgical type fuel lines running from under the carbs to the Block outside the piston. The lines blow off from the side of the block. Do I need to ziptie them on there or what;s going on...? Motor is running good. won;t idle well after lines pop off. (Duh) Help...
