I saw in my repair manual that there is a restrictor ring in the intake. They are hp specific.
IF>......I put a 50hp ring in a 40hp intake.......will I get a little more out of the engine?

I just bought a 1999 Optimax 200 hp blue water series.
Here's my questions,
*Is it a 2.5liter or a 3.0 liter?
*I am going with a concealed shifter with seperate ignition switch, how do I get a warning horn?
*Does it hook up to steering like other motors? I have a two cable system right...
The wires on the shifter to prevent starting in gear. is it wired between the selinoid wire on the starter switch and the starter selinoid post?<br /><br />The laynard safety switch, is it wired on the (+) pole between the key switch and the motor?<br /><br />Thanks
