    Removing gears from the lower unit.

    I have a omc 400 outdrive and I took the lower unit off but don't know how to get the gears out. I am trying to find out why it is stuck in reverse.

    Hi I have a 79 boat with the omc 140 hp motor and the omc 400 outdrive and it is stuck in reverse anyone know what it might be? and are these electric shift?
