Have a 4.5hp Merc Outboard. 1981 vintage. Not been in use for 10 years.
First thing i changed was the impeller for water flow successfully.
Then cleaned carburator by dissambally. Cleaned spark plug tested for spark all OK.
Cranked but no start. Squirted carb cleaner in carb starts for 2...
