    1997 evinrude 130 hp

    Any tricks to replacing lower unit on 1997 130 HP Evinrude. I replaced water and can't get lower unit to line up acts like **** rod may be stopping it from going all the way up not sure any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    1997 Force 120 HP

    I have burnt engine oil leaking from seam on lower unit after I run with muffs. Confirmed it is not lower unit oil. Most of the oil residue comes from seam where lower unit couples with engine. I have heard that it is comon for water to seap from these areas shoud exhaust oil also be seaping.

    Force 120 HP Thermostat

    Purchased a used boat with force 120s. Have put about 15 hours on them both run fine 42 MPH WOT on 23' walkaround. Started to change thermostats and there were none. Should I go ahead and put new thermostats in or can engine be run without them. Thanks for any help
