    Will the top of the 69 motor connect with a 71 gear case? It looks to me to be the same but Im not a hundred percent sure....The only difference I can tell is the clutch and solenoids are different. Thoughts.............?:confused:

    Hi guys, Have a question for you... I need to find the rod that goes through the solenoids 0580776 assembly. I have the solenoids I just need the rod. It broke at the bottom where the spring is. Any suggestions?

    I have a 1969 evinrude 55HP (55973A) I am not getting any spark. I have back tracked with shop manual and I am not getting any voltage from the amplifier?
