    3.0 belt

    Good morning guys.I have seen a lot of posts on 3.0 belt changes,However! and not to be rude in anyway..But i read some say raise the engine remove the mount.others say simply remove the spacer. I haven.t gone down to boat yet this morning but plan to soon.<br />The Question is! Does anyone here...

    Hello guys.I have an older 1986 boat.My question is,I see on my teleflex steering unit has 4 bolts holding the rack to the steering unit, can i remove them so i can try to get some lube down in the cable without removing the whole steering box?<br />I noticed they were loose .so i thought HEY...

    OMC outdrive steering

    JUST WONDERING,,DOES AN 1986 COBRA HAVE ANY LUBE PLACES ON THE OUTDRIVE FOR THE STEERING,EVEN WITH THE CABLE FROM THE WHEEL IS OFF THE DRIVE IS HARD TO TURN SITTING ON THE TRAILER.I'M ASUMMING THE BUSHINGS ARE DRY OR NEED LUBE.<br />THANKS, JOE

    OMC cobra

    any you guys know something good to flush an outdrive that had water in it after draining it?<br />I'm sure theres some milky oil going to be left behind after the draining.<br />thanks Joe

    omc water ploblem

    heres two questions<br /><br />1, can the lower unit leak water in it if the impeller was changed and no sealer was put in the bolts?<br />2,if the engine overheated,and the bellows got to hot,can this cause water in the lower unit also?<br /><br />just a thought...it's a cobra

    Ang OMC guys out there who can tell me if the prop shaft seal can be replaced without a tear down? like removing the old one with the drive in place? thanks joe

    I have a cobra I replaced the impeller this year.can you tell me if the seals arn;t right,will it or could pump water in the lower unit? last year my lower oil was clear as a bell,thanks, joe
