    Mercruiser 3.0l engine misfire

    Hi. My 1999 mercruisr 3.0l appears to have a misfire between 2200 and 2800 revs, as you push control lever forward the engine seems to loose power before picking up as the lever is pushed further forward. If held between 2200 - 2800 revs it does not pull well and sounds like not firing correctly...

    Cold start procedure for Mercruiser 3.0

    Hi, I have recently purchased a 1998 sea ray 175 fitted with a mercruiser 3.0 engine. I do not have an owners manual, can anyone advise the procedure for starting the engine when cold. At present it takes a long while before eventually starting. Thanks
