Boat is a 97 Larson 18' with 4.3 GS
The boat started on tuesday attached to the garden hose, but then not on friday when I took it to the lake. Mechanic just installed a new starter and I noticed the purple wire was disconnected. Could that be causing it to not start? Otherwise any other ideas...
On my 1997 Larson LXi 186 I had a bolt snap on the starter motor after the bendix gear wasnt fully disengaging. It is the inside bolt closer to the case. There is room to get a drill in under there to extract the bolt, but my question is:
1) How risky is this job, considering it is upside down...
