I changed impeller today, counted threads for shift linkage, but now only have reverse and neutral. I counted threads, then put the shifter in reverse to better access bOTH nuts. disconnected the nuts. did my work. hooked back up. cant remember honestly if i left it there throughout the...
Can anyone help me out with this, any tricks of the trade? I have taken out the four 'obvious bolts', heard that there is another one. With the four removed, the lower unit would NOT budge. Will I have to take care of the shift linkage toooo?
