    I have a 1979 thompson with a inline 6 the cable is new i have ajusted it just as the book said..it shifts into forward and reverse BUT it takes alot of throttle to go into forward and less for reverse..So therefor it stalls pulling in and out of the dock..I read in the book about the cable...
