    out drive lower portion leaking oil

    My 1972 merc out drive (#3249344) is leaking oil out the port opposite the drain plug on the lower portion. What is this port for? How do I fix the leak? The outdrive is presentlly hanging in the garage which is how I noticed the leaking oil.
