Can the old 1985 pump be replaced with a 3 or 4 wire pump of a 40 or 50 hp motor. I know you can buy the pump new and a conversion kit for the wwiring to convert the old non-wired 1985 pump. I am considering buying a couple of used pumps and other assorted parts for $80 as opposed to $400-$500...
