I have a 1978 manual shift 55hp.when i shift forward it goes in reverse and when i shift in reverse it goes forward. can anyone help me out with this problem.The motor does not have original lower unit. could somone have put the gears together backwards?<br />Please help fshnfool@metrocast.net
