    have a 1963 9.8. weep hole was not weeping replaced water pump impeller and found plastic pipe from pump not on copper pipe. rigged up a hose that would fit over copper pipe and get water from weep hole now, but am wondering if all water should go to engine then out weep hole or should some...

    cooling 9.8 mercury 1963

    I just purchase a 1963 9.8 mercury outboard. Changed cooling impeller get no water out pee hole. comes up copper pipe to engine then down shaft and out prop is this normal.
