I have a Volvo Penta AQ 125A and may need a new water pump. I've been shopping around for kits and prices and noticed many OHC 4 cylinder AQ series use similar pumps and almost all use the same impeller kit. I found an AQ171C (used) for rather cheep. Is it compatible with my AQ125A? They look...
Bayliner Capri with a AQ125 volvo penta, was running fine, hit full throttle & it lasted about 30 seconds then died. Replaced distributor cap & wires plus rebuilt carburetor. Engine has good compression, turns over and sparks but will not start. Any ideas about what my problem might be?
