I recently bought a boat powered by a 1991 Evinrude 88 SPL. It was partially rebuilt several years ago when #1 lost compression due supposedly to a thermostat problem. The engine runs good except at idle when in the water.....when flushing in my driveway it idles great. I have two questions...
