    Timing a 2000 5.7 mercuriser vortec

    I need help timing my motor. the timing marks are on the harmonic balancer but no numbers other than of course the 0. the manual shows the marks to the right of the 0 are btdc. Is that correct?? I'm on my second new motor in my boat and trying to make sure I dont do this one in. any help is...
