I have a 1987 Evinrude super 45, starts great, runs well expect at full speed without a load in the boat it seems to choke it self out. If i run just under full it runs fine tho. Took apart the carbs cleaned them, ran sea foam but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
Just purchased a 1999 40 johnson. First weekend it ran really well till driving it to the launch. Thought it was because it wasn't getting oil. Weekend after took it out and it seemed to being seizing up on me only in gear. Checked compression both are 125. Went to go check the gear oil and...
I have just purchased a 1999 johnson 40 with oil injection. I mixed the first tank with oil then the second with none. Closer to the end of the second tank it began to lose power but still ran. I checked for any cracks in the oil line and found none. Just wondering what else it could be?
