    Starter Spring 35hp Seahorse.

    The Starter gear is bouncing up and hitting the flywheel while underway. Where can I get a new spring that keeps the starter gear down, and what is this particular spring called, because when I search for it I get the recoil spring, and that's not what this is. Thank you, dpomper

    I have 1984 Johnson 35hp. Id like to remove and rebuild the carb. How do I get it off?

    Gas Dripping from Johnson

    I've got a 35hp '84 Johnson. It quit, then only starts at full throttle but only idles and gas is spewing out of it. I took the engine cover off and there's gas everywhere. I'm a fairly new boat owner and don't know the first step to take.
