    1983 johnson 60 hp. will not turn off

    motor starts and runs fine, but will not turn off. thought it was the key switch , put on a new one , but doing the same thing, have to choke the motor to turn it off, if any one has idea on what's up with this it would be appreciated!!! dnl94
