    88 mercury 25 engine swap

    I've got an 88 model mercury 25 with a locked up engine. I've also got an 87 with a good block. The 87 had caught on fire and the magneto wires are burnt. Therefore I think that I will need to swap the flywheels. Will this mess up the timing? And if so, how do I reset it?
